Group plans memorial donation

    The Maine Epsilon Master Chapter of Beta Sigma Phi held their first meeting of the season on Sept. 23 at Boondock’s Grille in Fort Fairfield, with 23 members present.    After dinner, President Judy Kenney opened the meeting with greetings to all. The secretary’s and treasurer’s reports were given. Suggestions were offered for activities and programs for the upcoming year. Thank-you notes were read from organizations the group had supported. An invitation was read from Preceptor Alpha for a Bunco Night fundraiser in November. At our next meeting we will have our attendee list. The group will donate to the Humane Society in memory of Sister Margaret Coffin. The group reported dinner and a fun time was had in August at Mae Gerrish’s home in Eagle Lake. Happy Dollars were enjoyed by all..  The next meeting will be Oct. 21 at Judy Kenney’s home with the annual One Pound Auction fundraiser. There will also be a Ritual and Memorial Service.

 
Flora hosts gathering

    The organizational meeting on Sept. 16, of Beta Sigma Phi, Preceptor Alpha chapter, was held at the home of Paula Flora with nine members present.
    The yearly calendar was discussed and committees were formed. It was decided that the first fundraiser of the year would be a BUNCO night at Sue Czosnek’s in November with our sister chapter, Maine Epsilon Master. Cares and shares were exchanged and the mystery gift was won by Sue Czosnek. A potluck dinner was enjoyed by all.
