Next Tuesday, Sept. 21, the Houlton varsity boys and girls soccer teams will be hosting a “Shires Kick Cancer” Night. The goal is to raise $500 to donate to the Bridge To Hope Breast Cancer Awareness scholarship fund. Organizers have had numerous items donated for a silent auction. Everyone is encouraged to wear pink or red. The night will start with the boy’s game at 5 p.m., followed by the girl’s contest at 7 p.m. Team players encourage the Greater Houlton community to come enjoy a fun night of soccer and to donate to a great cause.
