Little Momma, new mother of six 2-week-old sturdy male kittens, is currently residing at a Halfway Home Pet Rescue foster home. Although tiny in size and very young to be a mother, Little Momma has a huge heart and sense of responsibility when it comes to caring for her boys, who will be ready for adoption by the end of October and who are already showing signs of being active rascals. Momma was discovered lying on a woods path and members of the Halfway Home staff transported her to the Presque Isle Animal Hospital where she delivered her six healthy boys the next day. When her babies were 8 days old, the devoted mother still had not wandered more than a few feet from her babies’ bed. This has been an extremely busy summer for Halfway Home Pet Rescue and the help with food and litter supplies, returnable bottles and cans, Toby’s Treasures Gift Store and financial support has been and continues to be appreciated.
