North Lakes Fire and Rescue has announced that Mark Gagnon of Fort Kent was the winner of the Old Town kayak raffle. Gagnon won a kayak, paddle and department T-shirt.

Funds raised during this raffle will be used to help the department pay for firefighter training classes, equipment and gear needed to protect the citizens and visitors to the North Lakes Fire and Rescue coverage area.
The North Lakes Fire and Rescue Department operates three stations to provide fire protection services for the Unorganized Territories of Sinclair, Cross Lake, Square Lake and Madawaska Lake
