The Star City ATV Club hosted its annual Ultimate ATV Event the last week of July, enjoying many of the festivities at their clubhouse located at Arnold Brook Lake in Presque Isle. Here, dozens of ATV enthusiasts gathered at the lake for food, fun and friendship.

PRESQUE ISLE — The Star City ATV Club has been busy over the summer, tending trails and hosting yet another successful Ultimate ATV Event during the last weekend in July.
This year’s event kicked off on Saturday with a parade from The Sled Shop on the Houlton Road in Presque Isle, continuing to the Park and Ride just north of the Aroostook Centre Mall. From there, participants headed north to Washburn, then on to Mapleton and Chapman, ending the trek back at the clubhouse at Arnold Brook Lake.
On Sunday, a short poker run was held, using the Easton loop trail.
In all, about 190 bikes and their riders took part in the three days of festivities — 65 participated in the Friday night ride, 75 took part in Saturday’s fun and 50 enjoyed Sunday’s poker run.
Riders traveled from as far away as Vermont, New Hampshire and Massachusetts, as well as all over Maine, to take part in the SCATV’s three days of activities.
