Spud Speedway heats up

    CARIBOU — Spud Speedway hosted its Day Of Destruction Saturday, highlighted by a demolition derby. Bobby Anderson ofLimestone was the last driver running in the derby, taking home the first-place trophy.
    Individual results from the weekend were:
    Tuff Truck — 1, Bobby Anderson, Limestone; 2, Chris Tuttle, Mapleton; 3, Brad Frank, Caribou; 4, Gary Bonville Jr., Presque Isle; and 5, Wayne Fox Jr., Caribou.
    Pick Up Drags — 1, James Bradley, Presque Isle.
    Lawn Mower Races — 1, Jim Woods, Houlton; 2, Austin Woods, Caribou; 3, Dan Haines, Caribou.
    Chain Race — 1, Milo Haney/Jon Dixon; 2, Dean Anderson/Brett Butler; 3, Chris Walsh/Derek Finnemore.
    Bag Race — 1, Brandon York/Tim Dewitt; 2, Chris Tuttle/Chad Tuttle; 3, Derek Finnemore/Chris Walsh; and 4, Milo Haney/Julie Haney.
    Bomber Race — 1, Bobby Anderson, Limestone; 2, Don Wanzer, Frenchville; and 3, Jon Dixon, Presque Isle.
