Houlton Rifle and Pistol Club to meet
The monthly meeting of the Houlton Rifle and Pistol Club will be held Sunday, Sept. 12. The meeting is normally held on the first Sunday of every month, but it has been put off because of the Labor Day holiday. The meeting is scheduled to start at 7 p.m. at the range, located adjacent to the Houlton International Airport. Recreational shooting to follow. All members are encouraged to attend.
ATV Club to host day ride
The Aroostook Riders ATV Club will hold a day trip to Peekaboo Mountain on Saturday. Riders will start at the former Bartlett’s Store in Orient at 9 a.m. The ride is approximately four hours. The group will have chili and dogs at Len and Caroline White’s after the ride. Ride leaders are the Whites.
