Bob Marley scheduled
for Presque Isle appearance

PRESQUE ISLE — Maine’s ‘wicked funny’ comedian Bob Marley will be performing in the Star City in September.
Marley is scheduled to appear at the Forum on Saturday, Sept. 11, for an 8:30 p.m. show.The event, sponsored by the Presque Isle Fire Department and Northern Maine Community College and Gagnon’s Auto Superstore of Caribou, is just one of many activities planned as part of the 47th annual Maine State Federation of Firefighters Convention, Sept. 10-12 in Presque Isle.
Marley has performed at a variety of venues, from CBS’s “The Late, Late Show With Craig Ferguson,” to his own special on Comedy Central and a variety of clubs across the nation. Marley, a Maine native and University of Farmington graduate, uses biographical and observational material for his high-energy routines. He began his career about 15 years ago in his hometown of Portland, then moved to Boston to gain experience in a city known for spawning comedy all-stars. After living in California for a number of years, Marley and his family now reside in Maine.
