Four-month-old Mary a silky, long-haired female, living at a Halfway Home Pet Rescue foster home, is constantly looking for someone to love and to play with. Mary, who has extra toes on her front feet, was abandoned in a Presque Isle vacated apartment along with her sister, Millie. She is leukemia tested, has current shots, cleared of parasites and will be adopted with a spay voucher — her adoption fee is $40 HHPR is in great need of Purina Kitten Chow and clay based kitten litter (non-scoop-able). The facility is also in need of adult volunteers willing to work 2-to-3 hour shifts at Toby’s Treasures Gift Store. Halfway Returnable bottles left at 88 Bennett Drive Redemption and the change donated in area business collection jars are a huge help.
