    Ruby H. Faulkner, 85, died Aug. 25, 2010 at her daughter’s residence. She was born July 27, 1925 at Monticello, the daughter of Leslie and Vera (Foster) Flewelling.
    Ruby was a member of the Lake Road Freewill Baptist Church and worked for 32 years at the Aroostook Hospital, then Houlton Regional Hospital until her retirement in 1991.
    Ruby is survived by two daughters, Carol Smith and her husband, David, of Littleton, Diane Folsom and her husband, Paul "Sonny", of Houlton; her son, Les Faulkner and his wife, Sandra, of Bridgewater; one brother, Ronald Flewelling and Sherry of Monticello; three sisters, Pearl Flewelling of Monticello, Joanne Nason and her husband, Mark, of Orono, Phyllis Perfitt and her husband, Donald, of Monticello; several grandchildren, great- grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
    She was predeceased by her husband John Faulkner, Jr., her son, Lawrence Faulkner, and three brothers, Ray, Merle and Russell Flewelling.
    Friends called Friday 6 to 8 p.m. at the Dunn Funeral Home. Funeral services were held Saturday 1:30 p.m. at the funeral home with Pastor Carl DeMerchant officiating.
