Rec activities get under way

Wednesday, Sept. 1 — Junior activities 9:30-11 a.m. at the hall. Open to ages two and up. Senior exercise class at the manor starting at 1 p.m. After-school crafts (patriotic) from 2:45-4:15 p.m. starting at the hall.
Thursday, Sept. 2 — Little Kickers Soccer program from 11 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. at the elementary school. Children must have sneakers, shin guards and a bag lunch. Pre-registration required. Third- and fourth-grade
soccer practice at the elementary school from 3-4:15 p.m. Pre-registration required.
Friday, Sept. 3 — Junior activities 9:30-11 a.m. at the hall. Open to ages 2 and up. Seniors’ Summer Gathering at 11 a.m. in the recreation room at the manor. Hotdogs and homemade ice cream cones will be served.
Monday, Sept. 6 — No recreation activities due to the holiday.
Tuesday, Sept. 7 — After-school program, Potato Day, from 2:45-4:15 p.m. starting at the hall. We will do potato stamping, make Mr. Potato heads and enjoy a potato snack. First- and second-grade soccer game in Washburn at 5:30 p.m. The team will carpool from the hall at 4:45 p.m. Fifth- and sixth-grade soccer practice on the girls’ field from 5:30-6:45 p.m.
On Sept. 1, Iola Page, Molly White and Grady Cronkite all have a birthday.
Sept. 2 will be a day of celebrating for Jacob Bacon, Nathan Demerchant, Dawson Lamoreau and Abby Thompson. Also on that day Mark and Julie Sotomayer have an anniverswary.
On Sept. 3, Ethel Knox, John Blodgett, Lynn Boucher, Ana Marie Winger and Joe Saucier all have birthdays. Also on that day Lynn and Tony Boucher and Bernard and Joan McAdam have an anniversary.
Markie Beaton, Mark Coleman and Josephine Cenedella will be another year older on Sept. 4.
On Sept. 5, Lori Silvia, Deedra Cronkite and Martin Puckett all have a birthday. Also on Sept. 5, Toni and Jack Shannon have an anniversary.
On Sept. 6, Mona Adams, Dennie Miller and Erica Doody will all be celebrating their birthdays. Lisa and Harold Haney have an anniversary on Sept. 6 as well.
On Sept. 7, Natalie Salavarria, Elsie Kearney, Dana Cyr, Randy Bacon and Joe Lockhart all have a birthday to celebrate.
