Turner Memorial Library wins ‘Count on the County’ award

The County Federal Credit Union’s ‘Count On The County’ Initiative Committee recently presented the Mark & Emily Turner Memorial Library in Presque Isle its ninth $1,000 award in the “Count On The County” Initiative.

The Mark & Emily Turner Library in Presque Isle has become the most recent recipient of a $1,000 award, presented by the County Federal Credit Union’s “Count on the County” initiative. The Turner Memorial Library Expansion Project, now under way, includes an ADA compliant elevator and an addition to the Second Street facility.  The $1,000 “Count On The County” initiative award will help purchase tables, chairs and equipment for the library’s new room.

The County Federal Credit Union (CFCU) “Count on The County” Initiative is awarding $1,000 to a non-profit organization in Aroostook County within the field of membership each month for the year.  CFCU encourages everyone to take part by sharing who is most deserving.

Residents of the region can nominate their non-profit organization at www.countyfcu.org Eligible submissions must be a 501(c)3 non-profit organization in good standing.
