    HOULTON — Doug Guerrette’s State Farm Agency team delivers the personal, professional service his customers want and deserve from one of the country’s largest insurance and financial services companies — State Farm Insurance.

    Guerrette brings seven years of experience with State Farm to the table an offers a comprehensive range of practical insurance, financial and banking products. “Some consumers may be surprised to know that State Farm now has many banking products in addition to our insurance coverage. We offer mutual funds, variable annuities, home loans, car loans and even certificates of deposit.”
    State Farm Insurance was founded in 1922 and has been most well known for its vast array of insurance products. “We can offer multiple-line discounts for a homeowner or a renter when they have their auto insurance with us. And, we cover all types of vehicles from autos and ATV’s to motor homes, motorcycles and snowmobiles.”
    Guerrette said he can also assist his customers with long-range financial planning. “I can explain the advantages of our other products. We have various life insurance policies as well as disability and long-term care products in addition to retirement planning.”
    Backed up by Ruth Worthley’s 26 years of experience and Sylvia Quint’s 20-plus years of experience, Guerrette said the team offers the continuity of service and understanding that customers have come to expect. Paul Campbell of Houlton joined the team in March 2010.
    “When I took over for Dallas Henderson in Jan. 2010, I was committed to provide the same outstanding professional service that made him one of the area’s most beloved businessmen over the last 36 years. I will continue in that same tradition,” Guerrette stated.
    In addition to the know-how and skill Guerrette earned over seven years as a State Farm agent and manager, he is a CPA. Guerrette earned his MBA from Southern New Hampshire University. He is also a four-year veteran of the United States Marine Corps.
    Design plans are being developed to build a new office building at 29 Military St. by early 2011 when the staff relocates from their current 5 Bangor St. location.
