    HOULTON – Winn G. Hemore, Jr., 75, died Aug. 10, 2010 at a local hospital. He was born Aug. 10, 1935 at Houlton, the son of Winn G. and Elouise (Edwards) Hemore.
    Winn served in the US National Guard, was a member of the Houlton United Methodist Church and was employed for many years with Sherwin Williams and then with USDA as a crop inspector until his retirement.
    Winn enjoyed working on and spending time at the  Harvey Siding camp.
    Winn is survived by his wife, Donna (Ellis) Hemore; his son, Daniel Hemore and his wife, Colleen (Beth) of NY; his daughter, Cyndi Scott and her husband, Carl of Houlton; two grandchildren, Kaylee and Caleb; his brother, Almon (Tiny) Hemore and his wife, Bettie of Houlton. He was predeceased by his parents and his brother, Carl Blackmon.
    Graveside service was held at the Littleton Cemetery 11 a.m. Saturday with Rev. Marilyn Rohdin officiating. Gifts may be made in Winn’s memory to the American Heart Research or to the charity of one’s choice c/o Dunn Funeral Home, 11 Park Street, Houlton, 04730.
