Reps. Peter Edgecomb of Caribou and Bernard Ayotte of Caswell recently presented Maynard and Velma St. Peter of Caribou with a Legislative Sentiment in honor of their 50th wedding anniversary. The couple were married on Aug. 6, 1950 at the Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Caribou with the Rev. Charles Rivard officiating.
The Sentiment reads “We the members of the Senate and House of Representative of the State of Maine join with the family of Maynard and Velma in extending our congratulations and best wishes. May they enjoy many more years of happiness together.”
