The Monticello Fun Days Committee has announced the schedule for the annual Fun Days this Saturday, Aug. 21.
“There’s definitely something for everyone this year,” said committee member Steve Nason. “We will have Survivor Games from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., along with a jump house, painted tattoos, and lots of fun for kids of all ages.”
Saturday promises enough action to keep you going all day. The day kicks off at 10 a.m. with family games at the Monticello Fish and Game clubhouse, including an egg toss, a half-dollar search that promises to fill up a few piggy banks, and an Oreo stacking contest.
The action heats up at noon with Survivor Games, including rope hanging, clay pigeon shooting, blind alley ball, downhill roll and the ball throw.
The activity continues Saturday night at 8 when the Blast Addicts from Bangor play at the Monticello Fish and Game Club.
“The Blast Addicts cover everything from Aerosmith to Lady Gaga, and we’re thrilled to be able to provide a free concert this year,” said committee member Karen Wade.
All in all, it promises to be a fun filled weekend in Monticello.
