People should think before they throw

To the editor:
    In the 2010 spring school year, all of the seventh grade contributed to the community by helping out in different ways. Some classes picked up disgusting trash, some painted, and others built a greenhouse behind the library. It didn’t even last a week, when I noticed that the areas where we cleaned were filling up with trash. It was very discouraging and disappointing to see it filling up with trash again. 

    I wish people would think about all the time and effort that it takes to pick up all of the trash. Remember, there is a $200 fine for littering.
