WASHINGTON, D.C. — U.S. Senator Susan Collins met recently with Boy Scout Troop 184 from her hometown of Caribou. The scouts were in Washington to attend the 2010 National Scout Jamboree and celebrating the 100th anniversary of scouting in the United States. Scout Nolan Powers presented Senator Collins with an honorary patch marking the 100th anniversary of the Boy Scouts.
Troop 184 is part of the Katahdin Area Council of the Boy Scouts of America, which includes troops in Maine’s six northern counties.
