CARIBOU — Gray Memorial United Methodist Church will be hosting their annual Chicken Barbecue on Saturday, Aug.14 from 10 a.m. until mid-afternoon featuring their special recipe that’s been passed down through the congregation for 40 years. With the smell of barbecue chicken lingering in the air, the event is a great opportunity to enjoy the fleeting summer with a picnic and fellowship.
Supper includes a half chicken, beans, potato salad coleslaw, rolls, gingerbread and a beverage for $10. Proceeds will benefit the Capital Campaign Fund for church restoration projects.
