Kristin Farwell, 15, of Houlton is a picture of poise on her Arabian horse Damon. She was a multiple first-place winner at the Aroostook Riding Club’s last show of the year in Hodgdon on Sunday. Farwell said she has been riding since she was 6 and has always loved horses. Sandra Saunders, the event ringmaster seen here with Farwell, was on hand to help the judge and make sure things ran smoothly and everyone was safe in the ring. Saunders said the club is family oriented and had “a lot of beautiful, poised young ladies riding horses on a fun day with perfect weather.”
