Officials with TD Bank and the Northern Maine Community College Foundation have announced plans to host their fifth annual golf tournament at the Aroostook Valley Country Club in Fort Fairfield on Thursday, Aug. 12.
“TD Bank is pleased to be the title sponsor of this most enjoyable and beneficial event for a fifth consecutive year. This year’s tournament again benefits the NMCC Foundation. Funds raised will support the many worthwhile ongoing activities of the Foundation and will provide important scholarships for many worthy students through the TD Bank Scholarship Fund,” said Michael Kelley, Sr., regional vice president of TD Bank.
Last year’s tournament raised over $15,000, and this year’s event promises to be even more successful with the addition of several new sponsors.
A silent auction following the tournament will include items donated by several businesses.
