Free adult cat fair

CARIBOU — The Halfway Home Pet Rescue will be hosting a free adult cat Adoption Fair on Saturday, Aug. 14th from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Toby’s Treasures on Sweden St., in Caribou. All cats over the age of 6 months are free to the right family. All free adoptable cats are leukemia tested, spayed/neutered, distemper & rabies shots and cleared of any parasites. Each cat will go home with a gift litter box of at least a day’s supply of litter, litter scoop, dry food, toys, a hand knit blanket by Alice Malloch of Presque Isle, and some canned food. Applications will still be taken and references will be checked before adoption.
