ZEPHYRHILLS – Mrs. Mable E. Doody, age 92, died of natural causes Monday (Aug. 2, 2010).
Born in Caribou, Maine, on May 19, 1918, she came here from Lewiston, Maine in 1986. She was a short order cook, and a member of Bethel Baptist Church.
Mrs. Doody was preceded in death by her husband Merrill G. Doody; and son Merrill G. Doody, Jr. She is survived by her son Sheldon Doody (Sandra), Zephyrhills, daughters Deanna Jean Hardiman, Lakeland, Wanda White (Jesse), Cape Coral, FL., Madelyn Doody, Lakeland, son Nelson Doody, York, ME, sister Kathleen Brinkman, Kathleen, FL., 13 grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren, 1 great great grandchild.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, Aug. 6, 2010 at Lanier Funeral Home Chapel. Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday Aug. 7, 2010 at Lanier Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will be in Socrum Cemetery.
