WASHINGTON, D.C. – U.S. Senator Olympia J. Snowe (R-Maine) today applauded Catherine Collins of Caribou, who has interned in her Washington, D.C. office since June 2010.
“I cannot thank Catherine enough for her extraordinary work for me and the people of Maine as an intern in my Washington, D.C. Office,” said Senator Snowe. “Time and again, Catherine went above and beyond what was asked of her and she has truly been an outstanding asset for me and my staff. Catherine certainly epitomizes Maine’s hallmark work-ethic and can-do spirit and I could not be more grateful for her time with us.”
Catherine is the daughter of Sam and Lise Collins of Caribou. She will be graduating from Middlebury College in Middlebury, Vermont, with a degree in Political Science and French. Catherine assisted Senator Snowe through a number of responsibilities, ranging from attending briefings to conducting energy and environmental research.
