    ABBOTT, Ella., 65, PRESQUE ISLE, July 30, 2010, at Mars Hill. There will be no services. Interment will take place at Evergreen Cemetery. Arrangements are in the care of Duncan-Graves Funeral Home, Presque Isle.

    PRESQUE ISLE – Ella Abbott, 65, passed away Friday, July 30, 2010, at a Mars Hill health care facility. She was born April 25, 1945, in Wayland, New York, the daughter of the late Henry and Elizabeth  (Denton) Abbott.
    She worked at Potato Service for many years, and that is where she met her lifetime friend, Gilman Dube. A person could not ask for a more loyal friend than Ella. She would never forget a birthday and was always there with a helping hand. Ella was an active member of the Bethany Baptist Church for many years. She always spoke highly of the minister, his family, as well as the congregation.
    She is survived by several cousins; as well as a special friend, Marilyn Pinnette of Caribou.
