Important dates announced
at Presque Isle High School
PRESQUE ISLE – Donna Lisnik, principal at Presque Isle High School, has announced several important dates for the start of the upcoming fall semester. Dates include:
• Monday, Aug. 2: Health Office open from 7:30 a.m.-noon for sports clearance and for scheduling appointments for care plan development.
• Monday, Aug. 9: Health Office opens for the 2010-11 school year. Office hours: 8 a.m.-3 p.m. Students transferring to PIHS must begin the registration process in the SAD 1 Health Office. Call 764-8105 to schedule an appointment.
• Tuesday, Aug. 10: Guidance Office opens for the 2010-11 school year. Office hours: 8 a.m.-3 p.m. Call 764-7721 to make an appointment with one of the three guidance counselors.
• Thursday, Aug. 12: PowerSchool for Parents Orientation, 6:15 p.m. in Room 409A.
• Thursday, Aug. 12: New Student Parent Orientation, 7-8:30 p.m.
• Friday, Aug. 13: New Student Orientation, 9 a.m.-noon.
• Monday, Aug. 16: In-service day for PIHS faculty only.
• Tuesday, Aug. 17: In-service day for PIHS faculty and staff.
• Wednesday, Aug. 18: First day of school for PIHS students.
