DOWNED POWER LINE

 

    A truck operated by Chris Langille Jr. and hauling wood debris pulled down a power line as it traveled east on Skyway Street around 5 p.m. Monday, causing traffic to be re-routed as emergency personnel worked to fix the problem. A crew from Maine Public Service was called in to repair the line, while the Presque Isle Fire and Police departments blocked the road as a safety measure. No injuries were reported as a result of the incident. Here, the truck is pictured, with the utility line coming down across the windshield and hood.
