Riders reign supreme in 4-H Horse Show

    The annual 4-H Horse Show was held on opening day of the Houlton State Agricultural Fair for local 4-H youth.  Callie Foster of Linneus was named the Senior Western Grand Champion, with Sara Fitzpatrick of Hodgdon (six first-place finishes) coming in the Reserve Champion, while Kristin Farwell of Houlton was the Senior English Grand Champion and Megan Fitzpatrick of Hodgdon the Reserve Champion.

    Placement for the Grooms class was as follows: first, S. Fitzpatrick; second, Foster; third, Alyssa Kilcollins of Caribou; fourth, M. Fitzpatrick and fifth, Lindsay Gardner of Linneus.
