Despite a heavy, early rain on Saturday morning, the Carleton Project Scramble still took place and everyone involved had a great time.
First place went to the team of Tim Prescott, John Byron, Lauren McCauliffe and Dave Dubois with a score of 58. Second place with a score of 59 was the team of Steve Merry, Nick Cullen, Tim Hartin and Brent Dubois. Closest to the Pin winners were John Byron on holes four and 16, Bill Boulier on hole seven and Lauren McCauliffe on hole 11. Ben Walker won the long drive competition, while Warren Walker was the closest to the pin in two shots on the par five, eighth hole.
After qualifying during the round, a putting and chipping contest took place after the teams were completed. Bill Dwyer was victorious in the chipping contest, while Evan McCarthy won the putting contest. Thanks to everyone who played and sponsored the event, as well as the Carleton Project for choosing VaJoWa Golf Course for their tournament.
