Families attend Matinee with Momentum event

PRESQUE ISLE – Nearly 75 people turned out on a sunny weekend morning in late May to enjoy an entertaining – and inexpensive – showing of “Shrek: The Final Chapter” as part of a Matinee with Momentum event held at the Braden Theater.

Presented by sponsor Bemis & Rossignol, LLC, Momentum members and their families were able to enjoy the latest “Shrek” movie at a discounted price. Members had access to $3 tickets thanks to this special sponsorship by the Presque Isle-based law firm.
Momentum Aroostook, which has offered a similar weekend movie opportunity in the past, held the matinee event to provide its membership with a fun, family-themed activity exclusively for Momentum members.
“We wanted to provide another opportunity for young families in the area to do something fun together and were able to partner with Bemis and Rossignol and the Braden Theater on this exciting event – a chance to relax and watch a just-released family movie together on the big screen,” Momentum Aroostook Chair Rachel Rice said. “We had a great turnout, especially considering the great weather outside, and people definitely enjoyed the discounted tickets courtesy of Bemis and Rossignol. In fact, we had such a good time that we’re hoping to offer another Matinee with Momentum in the fall.”
