C.A.N.C.E.R. golf tourney set for June 5
The annual C-A-N-C-E-R golf tournament will take place Saturday, June 5 at Presque Isle Country Club, with a rain date of Sunday, June 6.
The tourney has a four-person scramble format, with registration taking place at 8 a.m. and the shot gun start at 9 a.m. Entry forms can be picked up at the PICC clubhouse and must be completed and along with the entry fee returned to PICC or mailed to Alexis Madore, c/o PICC, Presque Isle, ME 04769 by May 31.
Prizes will be awarded to the top men’s and women’s teams in both the gross and net categories. The entry fee is $200 per team. Call 764-0430 for cart reservation or for more information.
The C-A-N-C-E-R acronym stands for Caring Area Neighbors for Education and Recovery. All proceeds will stay in Aroostook County to help in the fight against cancer.
