Head Start class appreciates kindness
To the editor:
On behalf of Pi’gunji’jg/Little Feathers Head Start, we extend our warmest appreciation to the personnel at Northern Maine Regional Airport for the courtesy and kindness shown to our children on a recent field trip to their facility. Their staff was enthusiastic about having our children tour the airport, board an airplane, see the crash and rescue truck and meet the pilots and airport personnel. They provided coloring books for the students to take home with them, which the children were very excited to receive.
Northern Maine Regional Airport staff were kind, courteous and accommodating, not only to our tiny students, but to our staff and parents as well. Because we received such a warm reception, we plan to return to the airport for a field trip with our new students this coming school year. Thank you again, as your kindness and consideration will be long remembered and appreciated.
