Organization makes donation
PRESQUE ISLE — Members of Preceptor Alpha of Beta Sigma Phi met at the home of Lynn Walton on May 6.
A contribution to the Teen Leadership Camp was approved. Also, letters of appreciation were received from the Battered Woman’s Project and Homeless Services of Aroostook for Preceptor’s donations of personal care packets.
Plans were made to meet for breakfast on June 5 at the Northeastern Hotel. Next fall’s first meeting was scheduled for Sept. 16 at Paula Flora’s home.
The mystery gift brought by Sue Blanchard was won by Emily Knight.
Members also enjoyed a delicious potluck supper. It was a congenial ending to the 2009- 2010 sorority year.
