LIMESTONE — Audra Kirk was crowned 210 Miss Limestone along side her sister queen, Teen Miss Limestone 2010 Julia Weatherhead, during a double pageant on May 8 at the Limestone Community School.

2010 Miss Limestone Audra Kirk and 2010 Teen Miss Limestone Julia Weatherhead were both recently crowned during the May 8 pageant.
This was the first year that Limestone has had a Teen Miss title; the new pageant had three contestants, which included Weatherhead, Shannon Leighton and Stephanie Leighton.
Five contestants competed for the title of Miss Limestone — Kirk, Tammy Johndro, Katrina LaLonde, Monique Lebel and Courtney Mattoon.
LaLonde was named Miss Limestone first runner-up; the Teen Miss Limestone pageant didn’t name a first runner-up, but contestant Stephanie Leighton was voted Miss Congeniality and Most Photogenic during the double pageant event.
While Weatherhead is the first to hold her title, Kirk replaces 2009 Miss Limestone Caitlin Rae Good.
2010 Miss Limestone, Kirk is the daughter of Gerald Kirk and step-daughter of Gail Phair-Kirk; sponsored by Kelly’s Gun Shop, she sang “Imagine” by John Lennon.
Miss Limestone contestant LaLonde is the daughter of Daniel and Tonia LaLonde and she was sponsored by Little Lass Day Care and Tabitha Bird. For the talent portion of the pageant, she sang “I’d Lie” by Taylor Swift.
Miss Limestone contestant Monique Lebel was sponsored by St. Pierre Plumbing and Heating and performed a dance routine to “On Broadway” by George Benson. She is the granddaughter of George and Gail Brogden.
Miss Limestone contestant Courtney Mattoon sang “Can’t Fight the Moonlight” by LeAnn Rimes for the pageant’s talent segment. She is the daughter of Christa Mattoon and Timothy Emmert and was sponsored by the Rendezvous Restaurant.
Miss Limestone contestant Tammy Johndro is the daughter of Martin and Kelly Johndro and was sponsored by Joyce’s Day Care. For her talent, she performed a dance to “Black or White” by Michael Jackson.
2010 Teen Miss Limestone Julia Weatherhead is the daughter of Peter and Debbie Weatherhead. She was sponsored by Limestone Country Club and Rentals and performed a dance to “All That Jazz” from the musical Chicago during the talent segment of the pageant.
Teen Miss Limestone contestant Shannon Leighton is the daughter of Trish Gervais and Russell Leighton; she sang the song “Someone’s Watching Over Me” by Hilary Duff for her talent and was sponsored by Hometown One-Stop and Fuel.
Teen Miss Limestone contestant Stephanie Leighton is the daughter of Stephen Leighton and Cindy Doody. During the talent portion, she sang the song “Hallelujah” and was sponsored by Cote’s Auto Repair.
Entertaining the audience during breaks in the pageant were 2010 Little Miss Limestone Kennedy Bencivenga, 2010 Junior Miss Limestone Ellyzabeth Bencivenga, 2009 Miss Limestone Caitlin Rae Good and 2009 Little Miss Limestone Taylor Devoe.
The event was emceed by Jason Parent and directed by Vicki Page.
