CARIBOU — The annual American Cancer Society Relay for Life is scheduled for Friday, June 4 at the Caribou High School; with the relay right around the corner, excitement and support are building for the event A few upcoming fund-raisers for the American Cancer Society include these three events, scheduled for the next two Saturdays. Each event is a great way to help raise funds for the American Cancer Society:
Saturday, May 15
A Free Car Wash will be held from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. at the Caribou Lion’s Center. Donations are accepted, and encouraged.
There will be a Hotdog Barbecue from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. at the Caribou Lion’s Center. All proceeds benefit the American Cancer Society.
Saturday, May 22
A benefit auction will be held at the Caribou Lion’s Center from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. As of Tuesday, over $1,200 worth of items have been donated from local merchants.
