ImageHoulton Jr./Sr. High School All Choral Concert will take place on Tuesday, May 18 at 7 p.m. at the high school auditorium. The High School Chorus and the Junior High Chorus will perform a variety of pieces for their annual end-of-the-year spring concert. The high school will sing Beatles pieces which will feature the guys and girls sections; Kaki  Lambe, an African piece; Toto’s “Africa” complete with simulated rain storm; and many others. The Junior High will sing “Jubilate Alleluia,” “Give Us Hope,” “Will You Teach Me,” and a medley of Ray Charles’ songs.  The two choruses will combine for two final numbers, a gospel rendition of “America, The Beautiful” and “Brand New You” from “13: The Musical.” Seven outstanding musicians from Houlton High School were accepted to the All State Music Festival to be held May 20-22 at U Maine Orono. The include Dustin Fitzpatrick (top left) who will play percussion in the orchestra. The other six will sing with the chorus. They are, back row, Zacharia Harvey, Lucas Anderson; and seated, Stephannie Kreyssig, Tyler Swimm, Tyler Delano, and Zach Waite.
