Kaysie Nichole Pelletier,18, the daughter of Brian and Karen Pelletier or Caribou, was recently crowned 2010 Miss Maine National Teenager during a pageant held at the Hilton Garden Inn in Bangor. Pelletier will now go forward representing the city of Caribou and the state of Maine at a national competition scheduled for July 31, at the Prince Historic Theater in Philadelphia.

The new Miss Maine National Teenager is a senior at Caribou High School who will be attending the University of New England this fall as a student in the pre-pharmacy program. Her sponsors for the May 8 pageant were Galen Rockwell CPA, Sullivan’s Floor Covering and Highway Tire.
Americas National Teen celebrates intelligent, committed young women with high scholastic achievement and leadership ability, through participation in the program, the delegates develop and refine attributes such as self esteem, public speaking and confidence. America’s National Teenager is committed to recognizing and rewarding strong teen female role models.
From now until mid-June Pelletier must raise $5,000 in sponsorship funds.
