Never too old or young to Relay for Life

To the editor:
Do you hate cancer as much as I do? Then I invite you to participate in this year’s Relay for Life on Friday, June 4th at the Caribou High School.     How can you become involved you ask? Go to our Web site www.relayforlife.org/aroostookme and sign up. No one is too young or too old to make a difference in the fight against cancer.
We have a team this year called the Memory Walkers. They live at Leisure Village in Presque Isle and no one is under the age of 70 on that team! They walk every Wednesday and will be at Relay to walk once around the track!
Some teams have children as young as 5 who walk to help find a cure for cancer. So why don’t you join Relay this year? I can assure you that once you see the fun, friendship and food at the event you will be hooked!
And remember if you are a survivor of cancer, please go to the Web site and register. We want to celebrate more birthdays with each of you!
