TALKING TO CUSTOMERS – Michelle Crane of MACS Trading Post in Houlton shows a handgun to one of the hundreds of people who attended the Houlton Rifle and Pistol Club’s 23rd annual Gun Show held at the Millar Arena in Houlton.
The Houlton Rifle and Pistol Club held its 23rd annual gun show April 17-18 at the Millar Civic Center. The show featured 15 dealers displaying 61 tables and a paid gate of 800 people. Based on earlier attendance figures, the event was a huge success, which the HRPC credits to the April show dates and another good turnout of Canadian neighbors.
First prize was a Smith and Wesson Model 22A pistol, which was won by Phil Quint. The second prize was a Smith and Wesson M&P 15-22 rifle won by Mike Cummings and the third prize of a Smith and Wesson SWAT knife went to Halsey Knapp.DISPLAY PRODUCTS – Dan Soucy (left) and Paul Harrison of Smith and Wesson display some of the products they brought to the Houlton Rifle and Pistol Club’s Gun Show.
