Sabrina, a 13-year-old spayed female cat with long silky black hair is currently living at a Halfway Home Pet Rescue foster home. Her recent vet visit proved her to be a fine healthy feline, but she is also clean and eager to get along with almost any other cat. Sabrina has all her shots and has a personality that adjusts very easily to her environment. Her beloved owner has recently had to move to a nursing home and while Sabrina misses her, the resilient cat is making the best of the situation. Sabrina is extremely loving and gentle and according to HHRP volunteers, she would be an excellent pet for any family. Adoption details regarding Sabrina can be obtained by calling 492-1722 and asking for Norma Milton, president of the HHPR. Milton also encourages anyone interested to check the Happy Cat Adoption Fair on April 24 from 1 to 3 p.m. in the back of the Expect More Dollar Store on Sweden St., in Caribou. Coinciding with the adoption fair will be a nicely used table, home items and a craft table featuring several really nice handmade items. There will also have a box for donated pet pantry items. Information regarding HHPR and their pets can be found online at www.halfwayhomepetrescue.org or on Petfinder.com.
