ImageBOLTON, Conn. – John A. Faulkner, 81, of Bolton, Conn. went to eternal rest on March 28, 2010. He was born in Houlton, the son of Donald Sr. and Lillian Faulkner. In 1955 John moved to Conn.
    He was in the army and served in the Korean War. He was also in the Army National Guard of Maine, and was a member of the VFW, Manchester, Conn. He was also a Mason. John retired from UTC-Sikorski division.
Image    Leaving to mourn is his loving wife of 57 years, Joan Miller Faulkner of Bolton. He also leaves 5 sons and their familes, Jessie and Leslie of Milton, Mass. and their daughter Taylor, John Jr. and Karen Quaglia of Manchester, Conn., James Sr. and Pat, Heather, and James Jr. of Vernon, Conn., also 3 daughters from a previous marriage, Daniele Faulkner of St. Louis, Mo., Melanie Faulkner of San Diego, Calif., and Jessica and Michael Jackson of Mexico, Mo. and their children, Andrew, Keigan and Brooke, Joseph and Yolande Faulkner of Bolton, Conn. and their children Danielle and Derek Golding of Danforth, ME and their children Natalie and Derek Jr., Lauren Faulkner and John Ricci and their son Cayden of Vernon, Conn., Kyle Faulkner of Vernon, Conn., Cherie Berthiaume and her daughter Lexie of Bolton, Conn., Rob Berthiaume of Manchester, Conn., and Jay Faulkner and Sandy of Smithsville Flats, NY; one brother, Gerald Faulkner and his wife Isabelle and many nieces and nephews.
Image    He will join in Heaven his lovely daughter Jean Marie, who predeceased him, and two brothers, Donald Jr. and Gilbert Faulkner.
    His quick wit and love for hunting and outdoors will be remembered by all who knew him and his legacy will live on through his five sons, grandchildren, and friends.
    A celebration of his life was held on Sat. April 3, 2010, at 12 noon at the Coventry-Pietras Funeral Home, 2665 Boston Tnpk (Rt. 44), Coventry, Conn.
