Head Start accepting applications

    Aroostook County Action Program, Inc. (ACAP) Head Start Program is currently taking applications for the 2010-2011 school year.
    ACAP Head Start is a comprehensive early childhood educational program which includes individualized education, health and family services, parent education and involvement, nutritious hot meals and special services as needed.
    ACAP Head Start is expanding programs and will be serving 58 additional pregnant women and children from age birth to 3. Staff will continue to serve 3- and 4-year-old children in their center-based and home-based programs. As part of the new program, ACAP will be partnering with Healthy Families Aroostook to serve families in a home-based option.
