SEQUIM, WA – Marjorie J. Robinson, 85, passed away in Port Angeles on April 2, 2010. She was born on November 15, 1924, in Mars Hill, the daughter of Roy and Mary (Pryor) Robinson.
Marjorie served with distinction in the United States Army completing twenty years of service. Her military career afforded her the opportunity to visit many parts of the world, to make many lifelong friends and touch the lives of many.
After her military career, Marge went on to spend the next twenty years working in the Civil Service. She retired from Fort Carson, CO., in 1988, and moved to Sequim in 1991.
Marge loved the natural beauty of the area and was especially fond of taking scenic drives and spotting the various wild animals and birds.
Marjorie is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Beth and Jimmy Gardner of Bangor; her brother and sister-in-law, William and Judith Robinson; and sister and brother-in-law, Jacqueline and Robert Lovely, all of Mars Hill; as well as many nieces and nephews.
Marge will be lovingly remembered by special friends, Rose Anne (Penny) Ralph of Port Angeles, Jim Ralph of Spokane and Cassie Kennedy of Molalla, Oregon and many local friends and neighbors.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her brothers, Peter, Vaughn, Norman and Richard; her sister, Muriel; and a special nephew, Shawn.
