To the editor:
I would just like it to be known about a nice gesture that happened on Good Friday in Houlton.
I have helped deliver the Meals-on-Wheels locally for quite a few years. But I was pleasantly surprised Friday to find about 25 large, assorted pies, made by the Hodgdon High School’s National Honor Society students, to be delivered with our meals to the residents.
I’m sure everyone enjoyed them and we certainly want to thank the Hodgdon students for their efforts and caring thoughts of us. Sometimes we forget what good things our youth can do.
