Ashland Area Fund grants available

The Maine Community Foundation is accepting grant applications for the Ashland Area Fund. Grant amounts are typically in the $200-$1,500 range. Established in 1999, the Maine Community Foundation makes grants to non-profit programs, organizations, schools, government agencies or municipalities. The focus will be on health care, economic development, or educational enrichment.
Eligible communities are Portage, Oxbow, Masardis, Garfield, Nashville and Ashland.
A statewide foundation with offices in Portland and Ellsworth, Maine CF partners with donors and non-profits to strengthen Maine communities through philanthropy and leadership.

The Ashland Area PTO will be holding its next meeting tonight, Wednesday, April 7 at 6:30 p.m. Agenda topics will include Teacher Appreciation Week, the next Campbell’s Label and Box Top Contest (scheduled to take place through May 7) and the gym floor fund-raiser.
