“This is a great chance to have the ‘meeting before the meeting’ to make your needs known and ask questions about doing business in our city,” said City Planner Jamie Francomano. “We want to make your business start-up, relocation, or expansion as smooth as possible in Presque Isle.”

City staff will discuss opportunities and provide applications for the Presque Isle Development Fund loan program. Representatives from the planning and development department will be on hand to answer questions about zoning, code enforcement, and permitting and help you ensure a smooth start for your business. New business owners will share success stories, “oops” moments, and tips. Commercial lenders will connect you with opportunities to finance your business start-up or expansion. Business counselors will offer guidance, assistance, and information on upcoming trainings to help you assess the feasibility of your business idea and develop your business plan.
