Bray, Thomas L., 57, Woodland, at Presque Isle, March 22, 2010. Interment with military honors will be conducted later in the spring at the Maine Veterans Cemetery in Caribou. Arrangements are in the care of Duncan-Graves Funeral Home, Presque Isle.

 

ImageImageWOODLAND – Thomas L. Bray, 57, died unexpectedly due to injuries suffered in an industrial accident March 22, 2010. He was born July 27, 1952, in Rockland, the son of Biron and Maxine (Hinton) Bray.
    Tom served four years in the US Army and later served in the US Air Force for eighteen years. He traveled the world before settling in Woodland in 
1981. He was a Registered Maine Guide and an avid hunter. He enjoyed spending time with his family, hunting bear with his dogs, or just riding the woods’ roads looking for wildlife.
    He is survived by his wife of thirty-five years, Cynthia (Osgood) Bray; a son, Tommy Bray and his wife Bonnie of Woodland; two daughters, Jennifer Kinder and her husband Wesley of Woodland, and Theresa Knowles and her husband Aaron of Lee; his mother Maxine Bray of Rockland; a sister, Betty Binkiwitz and her husband Bill of Foxboro, Massachusetts; two brothers, Bill Bray of Portland, and Steve Bray and his wife Cathy of Freeport; a special brother-in-law, Jim Osgood and his wife Marjorie of Newry; nine grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Tom was predeceased by his father Biron Bray; father-in-law, Richard Bahre; and sister-in-law Judy Bray.
    Visiting hours were held Thursday March 25, 7-9 p.m. at Duncan-Graves Funeral Home, 30 Church St., Presque Isle. Funeral services were held 1:00 p.m. Friday, at the funeral home, with the Rev. Larry Palmer officiating. Interment with military honors will be conducted later in the spring at the Maine Veterans Cemetery in Caribou. A reception for family and friends followed the funeral at the Carson Pentecostal Church on the Carson Road in Woodland.  Online condolences may be expressed at www.duncan-graves.com.
