Pelkey, Margaret A., 65, Limestone and Gautier, Mississippi, at Gautier, March 26, 2010. A private graveside service of committal will be held at the Advent Cemetery, Limestone. Arrangements are in the care of Giberson-Dorsey Funeral Home, Fort Fairfield.

 

    LIMESTONE & GAUTIER, Mississippi – Margaret A. Pelkey, 65, beloved wife of Carl L. Pelkey, passed away, Friday morning, March 26, 2010, at her Gautier, MS residence. She was born August 29, 1944, in Houlton, the daughter of Wilmont N. and Theresa E. (Flewelling) Nason. She was a graduate of the Limestone High School and was married to Carl L. Pelkey on October 7, 1961. Margaret had been a member of the Limestone Assembly of God for many years and had been employed by the United States Civil Service as a fire inspector at the former Loring Air Force Base, Limestone. Margaret’s first love was her family, and was always available to help anyone in need, her second love was her “grand dogs” Thurman, Edgar, Tino, Chewy and Ellie Mae. These pups will miss their extra treats from “Grannie”. Margaret greatly enjoyed spending time with family and friends and had wintered for the past two years with her husband, Carl and daughter, Terri in Gautier, Mississippi.
    Margaret was predeceased by her mother, Theresa E. Nason on December 11, 2005, and by her father, Wilmont N. Nason on June 9, 2007. She is survived by her husband of forty-eight years, Carl L. Pelkey of Limestone and Gautier, MS; two sons and daughters-in-law, Ralph and Kelly Pelkey of Berwick, Maine, Walter and Holly Pelkey of Portland; one daughter and son-in-law, Terri and David Louk of Gautier, MS; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Rodney E. and Jan Nason of Limestone, Wilmont G. “Billy” and Janet Nason of Oklahoma City, OK; two granddaughters, Samatha and Megan Pelkey, both of Berwick; several nieces, nephews and extended family members and many friends.
    A private graveside service of committal will be held at the Advent Cemetery, Limestone, later in the spring. Those who wish may contribute in memory of Margaret to the Limestone Assembly of God, 14 Church Street, Limestone, 04750. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Giberson-Dorsey Funeral Home, 144 Main Street, Fort Fairfield.
