University of Southern Maine Fall 2009 Dean’s List
Jenna Guiggey of Sherman was named to the University of Southern Maine dean’s list for the Fall 2009 semester. To be named, students must earn a grade point average of 3.4 or above, and carry a minimum of 12 credit hours.

UMF honorees
University of Maine at Farmington announced its Dean’s List for the fall 2009 semester. UMF maintains a Dean’s List each semester for those students completing a minimum of 12 credits in courses producing quality points. A student whose grade point average for the semester equals or exceeds 3.8 will be listed with High Academic Achievement. A student whose grade point average for the semester is less than 3.8 but equal to or greater than 3.5 will be listed with Academic Achievement.

UM-Machias recipients
Stuart Swain, provost and vice president for academic affairs at the University of Maine at Machias, has announced that 253 students have been named to the Dean’s List at UMM for the fall 2009 semester.
All matriculated and special students who have earned a semester average of 3.25 or better on a 4.00 scale are eligible for the Dean’s List if they have completed a minimum of 6 credit hours graded on an A-F basis (excluding developmental courses), have earned no grade lower than a C, and have received no missing or incomplete grades.

UMPI announces fall 2009 Dean’s List
PRESQUE ISLE — Three hundred and forty-six students at the University of Maine at Presque Isle have been named to the dean’s list for the fall semester, according to Dr. Michael Sonntag, vice president for academic affairs.

Dean’s List at Emerson College
Emerson College announces sophomore Benjamin R. Austin has been named to the College’s Dean’s list for his academic performance for the Fall 2009 semester.
Students must achieve a least a 3.7 GPA to receive the honor. Austin is studying Print and Multimedia Journalism. He is a also photographer for em Magazine, a co-host for Overtime, a live student radio-sports talk show, and on-air talent for Unsportsmanlike Conduct, a student sports debate television show.
Tidd on Dean’s List at Liberty University
LYNCHBURG, Va. – Liberty University has released its dean’s list for academic achievement for the fall 2009 term. The dean’s list recognizes students that have a grade point average of 3.6 or higher for the fall 2009 academic term.
Dayna Tidd has been named to the dean’s list for the fall 2009 academic term and has an expected graduation date of May 2014.
