WASHBURN — Members of the Class of 2010 delivered pizzas recently from the Washburn Food Mart for a donation to assist them in raising money for their class graduation activities. This was the third time they did this.
Store owner Dan Martin spent some of the evening Feb. 27 with the seniors and enjoyed having them help.
He noted that the customers were more than willing to support this cause, and his pizza sales went up. He also said that the class members are welcome to come back for more pizza delivery nights or other fund-raising sales.
The fund-raising team for the Class of 2010 also enjoyed two Bingo nights at the Trail Runners Clubhouse and a Ms. Washburn Pageant, held March 6.
There are also other fund-raisers planned, including possible candle sales coming in the near future.
Students will also be making the decision on where they will be going on their trip.
